To kick things off on recommendations, I have to start with the genre I’m currently obsessed with, and If you haven’t already guessed, it’s Hockey. Which is hilarious because I don’t even like hockey in real life, but there is something about spicy hockey romances that I just can’t stop reading them. So let’s start with one of my all-time favourite series that I have read twice over, The Vancouver Agitators series by Meghan Quinn.
There are five books in this series, and let me tell you, they are all funny, spicy and such excellent stories. I laughed so hard in parts of these books that I had to stop reading because I had too many tears in my eyes to even see the page. Not only that, but the spice is hot, and you will be wanting your own hockey hottie to show you what he can do with his stick.
They are standalone books, but you will want to read them in order.
Book one is Kiss and Don’t Tell, and it’s a romantic comedy with an ex-boyfriend brother, forced proximity and all the fun banter.
Book two is Those Three Little Words, and it’s a romantic comedy (the shoe barf scene will have you in tears!), with a brother’s best friend and an accidental pregnancy.
Book three is Right Man, Right Time, also a romantic comedy with fake dating and an age gap.
Book four is He’s Not My Type, and it’s a romantic comedy with roommates to lovers and a whole thing about a bonsai tree.
Book five is So This Is War, and the final book in the series (sad face), which is also a romantic comedy with workplace, forced proximity and the coach’s daughter.
